Mr de Koning wrote "16MB is More then enough" P200MMX 2h/40 move. For 5min/game
I suggest 1 or maybe 2MB. Just check your program with different hash-size and
you can clearly see the performance go down with too big hash.
I have also noted the same effect with Rebel8. The optimum for Rebel8 seems to
be somewhere between 13 and 32 MB. It plays clearly weaker with 60 MB.
All this on P200MMX 2h/40 moves. For P2 350 and up use twice the above.
Some years ago we tested Genius2 or 3 in several hundred blitz-games and the
result was practically the same, afterwords we were told that Genius alwaus used
small hash for blitz-games whatever size you manually choosed.
