My one and only target is having fun. Parallel search is one of many ways to improve my program. Whether it is the easiest or the fastest road to improvement doesn't matter at all. Being an amateur with no financial motivations in computer chess, I have no need to compete with anybody. The only important thing is that implementing an efficient parallel search looks like a very enjoyable and enlightening exercise. Of all the many possible ways to continue the work on my program, it seems to be the most interesting one at the moment. Tord
