One other thing worth checking. Sometimes book learning is disabled even though you have it set up the proper way in the GUI as you have stated. This can happen if the books file attributes are set to "read only" (*.ctg, *.ctb, *.cto). If that happens the books can never be updated and book learning is effectively disabled. This might occur when the book files are copied directly from a CD. Also, I agree with Albert as to the variety setting. The more variety (farther to the right) is probably better. Good luck
