Yes, I totally agree and this is what Vas has recommended. Plus a common book
with the "alternate colors" option selected forces the GUI to play each opening
selected twice , once as white and once as black for each engine. I understand
that someone may want to test Hiarcs 10 with its own opening book, but if you
want to determine whether a set of engine parameters is better than the
defaults, then using a common book is essential in my opinion :)  YMMV
