I do own Rebel 10 (among others) and I find that Rebel 10 is my preferred playing partner AND analysis partner. I like Rebel's style of play better than others (Fritz comes to mind). Rebel plays games that seem more like they were played by a human player; I know this is a VERY subjective thing. Fritz (sorry, I do not know Nimzo) on the other hand, plays moves that frequently make you scratch your head and wonder why ... Fritz is extremely strong, I do not question that. It's games seem more like computer games to me; Rebel games do not. Rebel's analysis features are excellent, and its evaluation of a position seems more in keeping with what GMs say in books that I read. Fritz's evaluation jumps from low to high values back to low values frequently in a game, for no apparent reason. So, Rebel is a good choice, in my opinion. Nimzo 2000 ... no data; cannot say. Roy
