Here you have my latest results with Rybka 1.01 Beta 11. Gauntlet Pentium IV Dual 3 Mhz. Gui Junior 9 Book for all engines: Perfect 9 Time control: 40/20min + 40/20min + 10min finish Rybka - Fritz 9 +0 -5 =3 18,75% 1,5/6,5 Rybka - Hiarcs 9 +4 -1 =3 68,75% 5,5/2,5 Rybka - Fruit 221 +4 -0 =4 75,00% 6,0/2,0 I was a bit surprised by these results, because Rybka played excellent chess, including a couple of very good endgames against Hiarcs and Fruit, but was clearly beaten by Fritz. I decided to test against Rybka 1.01. Beta 11 against Fritz 9 to get more information, and the result was definitely AMAZING, although I know very well that these things can happen with a small number of games: Pentium IV Dual 3 Mhz. Gui Junior 9 Book for Rybka= Perfect 9 Book For Fritz 9= Fritz 9. Time control: 40/20min + 40/20min + 10min finish Rybka - Fritz 9 +8 -0 =2 90,00% 9,0/1,0 Rybka played excellent chess, a big difference with the first part of this test where was beaten by Fritz 9. Only the book changed, not justifying at all the enormous difference in Rybka performance. Congratulations, Vas, for the impressive evolution of your Rybka. Overall results= +16 -6 =12 22,0/12,0 Probably influenced by the last test played, my feeling is that changes between Beta 10d and Beta 11 are bigger than between any other previous versions.
