Folks, i think the poor initial showing of rybka had something to do with my computer and dual tasking (and rybka not handling such dual tasking well in fritz 9 gui) I am re-runing everything on my old computer and already rybka is doing much much better than what i report below about fritz9. This old computer is only 446 ghz, but i have made it into a pure chess testing computer, deleting every piece of software that might make demands on its resources. I trust the results of this computer more (and therefore the results of the fruit 2.2.1. testing, which were done on this computer). In general, the results on this computer tend to correlate well with cegt and ssdf results.
