Any version of Rybka from the original Beta till the Beta 12 are much stronger than anything out there at any time control with any hardware. In all my tournaments Fruit 2.2.1 and Shredder 9.1 and Fritz 9 are quite evenly matched with anyone of them being able to win any given engine tournament. Now if you throw Rybka in the mix, well ..... it is just no contest. I think at the moment Rybka is playing at least 100 ELO stronger than the number 2 engine. This is with a beta that has no endgame knowledge added yet, and without EGTB's and without a native book. I would not be surprised if Rybka gains another 50 ELO points once it is out of beta.
