When you save the profiles, the parameters are saved as well. If you are unsure,
you can just load the profile, click on the engine (for example in the Fritz
GUI), click on the Engine Parameters, and see if they are the way you expect
them. Note that I have done a lot of testing with various parameters in
torunaments, not even saving a special profile, and the settings have been
consistently correct as far as I've seen. I'm confident it works.
