I want to use a computer opening book as a personal guide, rather than to get an advantage over another chess engine or to make equal matches between engines. What do you folks reckon is the best opening book for this purpose? What do you think of the fritz9 booi? It seems to put a lot of question marks around lines that are recomended by experts in the opening. 1. d4 f5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. Bg5 Ne4 4. h4? h4 is given a full ?, though it is recommended by roman dzindzi's "opening repertoire for the tournment player". Maybe it is not the absolute best move, but i can't believe it warrents a ? best Joseph
