Subject: A little anecdote about Morovic vs Rybka match

An hour ago Ivan phoned me to ask some questions about the match, wich will
begin and end tomorrow thursday, from 14:30, chilean hour. Or perhaps at 15:00.
And one of the questions he did to me, after reading in a newspaper that I have
gotten one draw in a game with Rybka, was the following:
-How a heck you got it...?
He was, of course, mainly joking, but the joke reflects something that other
comments made to me clear: he respect very much the program and he is not sure
at all of the outcome.
In his preparation -and all this, talk included, is NOT a secret I am divulging
at his back- he has played more than 40 games at around one hour each and the
results, he told me, are even.
He has clear just one esential thing, though:
-I will not do what I said to the press I was going to do, say, play an
anticomputer kind of chess with my pieces entrenched behind a wall of pawns. I
will not dig-in. That only ensure dead by suffocation...
As far, TV of at least one network has promised assistance.
I will be there in any case and I will take photos for you to enjoy.

Fernando
