John, >CM9_R1 needs eleven seconds on a P4-2.4: Not so long ago it was the case that ChessMaster (a.k.a The King) was usually the fastest in these types of tactical positions. It would seem that a few engines have caught up (e.g. Rybka, Hiarcs 10, Fritz 9 and Glaurung). Do you know if Johan is still working on The King? I find it hard to believe that he's still 100% full time programming. Do you happen to know what he's up to these days? Regards, Steve
