This is correct. The only thing you are seeing is the H10 splash screen when it starts up. If you want to run Fritz 9 GUI, when the program starts, under Tools/Options/select Version and then Fritz 9. You will still get the H10 splash screen on first starting which I find annoying, but you will be running Fritz 9. David
