I think Fritz 9 is great! It is just that right now Rybka is playing a different chess that is a few magnitudes higher. I am doing a 500 game tourney now with Rybka beta10d, Fruit 2.2.1, Fritz 9, Shredder 9.1 So far after 486 games Rybka is ahead with score of 151 !!!!! The second best is Fruit 2.2.1 with around 104 and Fritz around 103 and Shredder around 100. Games are 10 min with 3sec extra per move. All using Fritz 9 book.
