The only reason for me to buy something like Hiarcs10 is in case that it show me more information than only the pv like some killer moves for important lines. unfortunately as far as I know no engine does it and if the engine has line like 1.e4 e5 after many hours of search then I need to waste again hours in order to understand why it rejected 1.d4(the engine of course knows to search first 1...Nf6 after 1.d4 but it does not tell me this knowledge even if 1.d4 was searched for hours). Note that I could live with the information in text with no interface that support it but I am sure that some interface that support getting tree information from the engine can encourage programmers to give more information than the main line so it is a reason for me to buy the interface.
