I think that the problem is that there is no connection between the GUI and the
engine.

The only reason for me to buy something like Hiarcs10 is in case that it show me
more information than only the pv like some killer moves for important lines.

unfortunately as far as I know no engine does it and if the engine has line like
1.e4 e5 after many hours of search then I need to waste again hours in order to
understand why it rejected 1.d4(the engine of course knows to search first
1...Nf6 after 1.d4 but it does not tell me this knowledge even if 1.d4 was
searched for hours).

Note that I could live with the information in text with no interface that
support it but I am sure that some interface that support getting tree
information from the engine can encourage programmers to give more information
than the main line so it is a reason for me to buy the interface.
