There are so many Rybka beta versions now that I have largely stepped aside. I don't have the time to evaluate them. I will wait for the final release version - not a beta! In the meantime I prefer Fruit 2.2.1 for my long analyses. "Preserve Analysis" is an interesting new feature, but not exactly what I'm looking for. I want the primary PV to display generous analysis outputs (at least 8-10 ply long), increasing somewhat at longer analysis times, however at present it reduces to only 2 half-moves in the output displays after awhile. I also find Rybka still lacking in situations involving a direct attack on the king and many checks, but Fruit seems to handle these fine. These judgements are only anecdotal evidence, not proven with scientific examples, but that's how I operate. I trust my instincts more than anything. :) I will reserve final judgements til after the first non-beta release of Rybka, when I'll take another serious look at it. WP
