The network interface is fuctional, but I find the clock very difficult to see while playing. I've lost every 3 minute game on time that I've played so far using it. (A feature I like the best is the check box for automaticly repeating your challenge after the game ends). When accepting a challenge, CSTalII alerts oponnent's that the Tal interface is being used, and that the user book info is unavailable. Don't know yet if that can be turned on/off during the session. Blitzin 2.16 has nothing to worry about as far as being the easier interface to use, especially as far as the various command set perimiter's are concerned. CSTal II is adequet, but it is also simple and basic. On the Tal page there is a hint that upgrades to the funtionality of the program may ultimately be available based on user's comments. I think that is the most pleasent, and best thing that is happening with the Internet in the last year or so, and I salute the Oxford software programmer's for being a part of it. mrslug - the inkompetent chess software addict!
