Just tried Crafty on ICC.  Had no trouble kibitzing at all.  No idea what your
problem is.  They did add a new kibitz control (allowkib or something similar)
that you might have set wrong by default...

But CCT8 could proceed if whisper worked without missing a beat for the intent
of the rule.
