I think Bob referred to something about the fact that now on the Quad Crafty was going at least 9 ply and this helped to cover up some "holes" which Crafty had at Blitz with less ply searches. So if true, playing at game/60 would accomplish the same thing on my PII 333 Mhz. Jim Walker P.S. In my opinion, Crafty 16.6 is a definite improvement over all previous versions.
