I only have HIARCS 10, so I don't know.

Yes.

I have done this before when I had Fritz 7 installed. However, HIARCS 10 uses a
different adapter, UCINet.dll. Still, I did the replacement as you suggested,
but to no avail.

OK. But please note that a week before everything was all right and suddenly UCI
engines did not want to play comp-comp matches any more...
