He asked "who is winning?" You answered "Who won in this position in the past?" The reason your answer is wrong is that if you go back 20 years, endgame theory in KQ vs KR said "keep king and rook close together for best defense" and everyone did that. Until computers showed that was wrong. So while white wins 55% of the games, that doesn't answer the question "who is winning" since humans are notoriously inexact in how they play the games. :)
