Maybe you're joking, K, or maybe you're confused by the English language. Surely
what I wrote is easy for even non-Anglophones to comprehend.

A chess engine exists. The ability of that engine to perform better/worse is
almost entirely dependent upon the speed of the processor to which it's mated.
That processor has a set clock speed. But, that processor also needs an
operating system running while the engine runs.

So, my question was whether enhancements to speed up the operating system would
also increase engine performance.
