I try these settings, and here are my results:

Default settings =

RB13b-F9, Blitz:10'+5" 0

                                12345678901234567890
1 Rybka 1.01 Beta 13b 32-bit 10½½11½01111101½00½½ 12.0/20
2 Fritz 9 01½½00½10000010½11½½ 8.0/20

Ultrasound/slightly pessimistic =

RB13b-F9, Blitz:10'+5" 0

                                12345678901234567890
1 Fritz 9 11½0011½10½½0111½1½1 13.0/20
2 Rybka 1.01 Beta 13b 32-bit 00½1100½01½½1000½0½0 7.0/20

I will let others draw conclusions. I can send games to those who wish.

Other settings: Fritz 9 uses own book, Rybka uses Perfect 8.1 (I do not think
this is best for Rybka). Games on my 1.6 GHz laptop using 48 mb hash each
engine. Ponder = off.
