Intellectual property rights are thought of differently in other parts of the world. It will be interesting to see if they keep trying to push their facelifts forward or if, rather, they have learned from their mistakes. I suggest, for the tournament, that each of the original authors be contacted if possible so that they can ensure that their favorite edition of the program is operational. If that proves too difficult, then just go with what you have but label them precisely with version information.
