Some time ago I posted a draw I made against Fruit 2.0 (I think...it's been a
while)in a 5 minute game. So yes, I believe an 1800ish player can draw a strong
program on decent hardware.

P.S. For confirmation that this is possibl just look at some of Pablo's
games...except I was playing like I'd play against anyone...no anti-chess for
me.
