Subject: Question about engines and their calculating speed

Author: Andre Reffhaug

Hello,

I've been looking at Fruit, Rybka and the other engines, and a little while ago
I started noticing the N/s-numbers. Fruit says it is calculating somewhere
around 500.000 N/s, so do Fritz and Hiarcs etc. But, to my surprise, Rybka
always says it is calculating somewhere around 50.000 N/s, which without any
knowledge of these kinds of things seems extremely low when you look at the
other engines. Anyone have an explanation?

Regards,
André
