Subject: Scid question

Hello I was wondering if anybody succeeded in getting chess engines to work with
Scid (nicknamed 'Scud' by a fellow chessplayer)under Windows XP?

I am just exploring all the possibilities of the program made by Shane Hudson
and since I don't have other chessdatabases I hope to use it to build my own
database. So far everything seems to work but the computer analysis only works
on my Windows 98 computer. It is not very important as the analysis can easily
be done in ChessPartner or Shredder Classic but I was curious if there is a
workaround. A pity the development seems to have stopped in 2004! Great program!
Especially considering its price.. Installation was quick and without problems
in Windows XP and 98. http://scid.sourceforge.net/
