I also think that a little variety is good.  If they all have exactly the same
start out to move 10 or so, it's less interesting to me.  I know it is the basic
idea of a thematic tournament, but I'm thinking of less limitation (has to start
with 1. b4, but after that anything goes).

I am also hoping for novelties.
