I ran the _same_ position, to the _same_ depth. The only thing I changed was the hash table size. Bigger hash cut the search time to 1/2 what it was with a small hash. Is that "refutation enough" for you??? Can't be any clearer. I didn't run N programs on M different positions, and try to draw a conclusion. _everything_ was fixed except for the hash size, which is the _only_ correct way to compare hash sizes and nothing else.
