Yes, I agree. He was excited to announce he had joined a gym, to promote his
health, and I'm all for it, but I think the best thing he could do is check out
AA. Still, aside from denial, the biggest issue is usually the fear of the
unkown, having to rebuild a lifestyle without alcohol. AA members are very good
not only for support, but in helping others accomplish exactly that.
