Not sure what Chandler was trying to say about hash settings. maybe Chandler can apply his theories to these examples and allow us to see his ideas a little better. Maybe Chandler was saying that with a bm in 15 seconds using 432 meg hash setting would be slower than if we set the hash at 32 megs. Not sure. 15.Nxh7 [D] 2rq1rk1/pp1bnpbp/4p1p1/3pP1N1/3P2Q1/2PB4/P4PPP/R1B1R1K1 w KQkq - 0 1 1 Meg Hash 10 Megs hash 432 Megs Hash Nxh7 27:48 Nxh7 26:11 Nxh7 11:41 eval +.74 1339 kns eval +.71 1356kns eval +.71 1430kns Bd2 16/42 8:02 Bd2 16/42 5:56 Nxh7 16/41 6:13 6455071kn 482967kn 514908kn eval +.72 1378kns eval +.75 1380kns eval +2.23 1413kns Bd2 17/43 18:57 Bd2 17/42 19:13 Nxh7 17/44 11:41 1566961kn 1588719kn 990716kn eval +.73 1418kns eval +.75 1427 eval +2.30 1352 Nxh7 17/43 27:48 Nxh7 17/42 26:11 Nxh7 18/41 18:28 2365316kn 2226487kn 1580014kn Athlon 64 2200 Mhz 1 gig ram
