Hello Heinz, This is an excellent idea! I truly believe that today's programs can enhance opening theory in rare lines. I myself have successfully used in www.net-chess.com ideas that I had seen in Movei's games with 1.b4 (in the WBEC tournament a few months ago). I also like the Elephant Gambit for Black, although I admit it is rather unsound. I believe Maroczy was the first great player that used it at the end of the 19th century. The Elephant Gambit goes 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 d5. It would be fun to watch how programs handle these positions. Regards, Christos.
