Subject: Fritz tounaments and automatically declaring a draw

Author: Jeroen van Dorp

Date: 13:19:33 04/09/99

When organizing an engine tournament in Fritz 5.32 sometimes games in
totally drawish positions are lost on time by one of the engines.

It is a possibility to adjust the score manually by saving the game again,
but isn't there a way to prevent the engines to play till the end in
absolute drawish positions?

Should I change draw contempt features for the engines who have engine
parameters? And what about the other engines?

Thanks in advance.
