Well, the guys at Excalibur are at it again, stating that a new robotic chess computer will hit the shelves this summer. This time it's called 'The Phantom' (where have I heard that name before) and will sell for around £150. We all know what happened to their last press statement about the 'Talking Chess Robot' with the handroid arm. I spoke to the Professor who developed it in Hong Kong and he told me that they had completed all of Excaliburs engineering requirements but didn't know why Excalibur hadn't put it into production after spending so much money on the development. Will the Phanton have the arm or not, Excalibur didn't reveal this at the announcemnet. Not holding his breath Bryan
