Hi all,

here are the startlist for the CEGT 40/120 repeated thematic tournaments and the
conditions. Testers so far are Wilhelm Hudetz, Charles Smith and me on dual core
machines.

1. Rybka 1.01 beta 13b 64-bit
2. Deep Shredder x64 2 CPU
3. Fruit 2.2 (WCCC) or Fruit 2.2.1 (untag own book)
4. Fritz 9
5. Hiarcs Hypermodern (tag hypermodern under parameters)
6. Deep Junior 9.001 2 CPU
7. Spike 1.1 (untag own book)
8. Smar Think 1.00 64-bit (remove book from engines folder)
9. Ktulu 7.5 (remove book from engines folder)
10. Zappa 1.1 64-bit 2 CPU (set threads to 2 under parameters)
11. CM Mr.Spock (played by Wilhelm, who will decide if to use The King 3.33 or
The King 3.32)

Games for engines that are not owned by other testers will be played by me
and/or Wilhelm.

ctg."book" to pregive 1.b4 only sent already to Wilhelm and Charles.
I have started a double round robin with King´s Gambit giving 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 only

Further conditions:

512 MB to all engines, Wilhelm will give less to Mr.Spock, because according to
his extensive tests it plays better this way

Ponder=on !! (you can set this in the screen where you invite the engines)

5 men EGTB

Untag tournament book (the one below from the two tags, the other one above has
to keep the tag)

To enforce a repeated time control, values for second and third time control
have to be zero (=0).

If an engine shows a disadvantage of -6 pawn units over three consecutive moves,
the operator can adjudicate it to a loss.
Same for clear draw positions.

Set to early resign and early draw under options.

Please send games to my email whenever you finished ten, so that I can give them
to the replay zone, check them against MegaBase and other databases and annotate
some.

Further questions please in CEGT Forum.

More people willing to help with proposals, annotating (commenting) games or
contributing games (also on slower hardware of with other top engines) are
highly welcome.

Best Regards
Heinz
