I think these are good positions for testing engine endgame strength. I have
been testing many of them with Rybka beta 13. I will be interested to see how
Rybka beta 14 with endgame knowledge does. My latest round of testing with Rybka
beta 13b v Deep Shredder 9.12 is listed here along with previous results from
Fruit 2.2.1, Fritz 9, and Hiarcs 10. The new CCRL will be a welcome addition to
my list of favorite chess websites :)
