I think you're probably right. It sometimes seems like ChessBase is omitting
annotations when I export to png, but maybe it's my imagination. I'll just
concentrate on pgn for now.

Yeah. I'd already found Mr. Weir's CB utilities, but unfortuantely I was only
able to find the binaries.
