Sarah, Yes Hiarcs is one of the top programs. Tests would seem to indicate that it's not quite as strong as Rybka but it's certainly not far behind. I would also say that it has a somewhat similar playing style to Rybka - as does Fritz 9, which I think is a hugely undervalued engine on the board. Regards, Steve
