I cannot see Rebel 10 being allowed to run under Fritz interfaces. Hiarcs6(H6) was setup and sold to run under the 16bit Fritz. However i heard through the garpevine that Hiarcs6 writer Mark Uniack was not that impressed with the financial renumeration and H6 was weaker under the 16bit interface than under its own interface which certainly would not help the ratings for H6. Due to the current price war on PC chess programs, we may see more amalgamations occurring like Tiger and Rebel. That could be interesting, but we shall have to wait and see i suppose. The price war could, of course kill a lot of the competition off, and that would be a sorry state of affairs. Comments please, would be welcome
