Mate in 14 found after 171 seconds = 2m51s, mate in 13 found after >308 seconds = 5m08s. Not very fast, I know. Glaurung has never been >among the best programs at finding mates. My Rybka beta 13b 32 bit found the mate in 14 in 44 seconds but is struggling to find the mate in 13 still after 7 minutes of thinking. I had this position last night in a local league game but was engrossed in the double rook sacrifice on f7 and then the other rook on g7. I played Bh6 in the diagramed position which actually only draws after Nc6. Thankfully my opponent played Be6 which allowed R1xe6 winning swiftly.
