I posted this earlier, but I think maybe my Subject line wasn't descriptive enough.... I posted last year about learning to write a chess engine. Since that time, I've taken 2 semesters of C++ and I'm currently about a quater of my way through a 3rd. I want to start on writing an engine. Are there any open source examples of a UCI compliant engine? I've seen a few open source stand alone engines, but none that actually send and receive the proper UCI parameters. Thanks! David
