I have not analysed the position deeply but just from seeing it i think Rc7 leads to draw Rc7 Rc7 Kd6 Rc8 c7 Kf6 Kd7 Rxc7 Kc7 Ke7. Now black has the opposition. If white takes a6 he will play Kc6 in response leading to a draw because white cannot gain the opposition on the other wing. [ Kb7 Kd7 Ka6 Kc6.....] I dont see how white can win this. On the other hand maybe f5 first can try to create such an opposition breaker.
