So either these analysts are wrong, or there is a mistake in the moves above. Most analysts also say that Eliskases had a win some moves before your diagram, on his 43rd move: [D] 4b3/8/pkp1P2p/8/1PBK3P/8/8/8 w - - Play continued 43.Bd3 Kc7 44.Kc5 Bh5 45.Bh7 Bg4 46.e7 Kd7 47.Bxe4 Kxe7 48.Bxc6, arriving at your diagram. Instead, Eliskases could have made better use of his e-pawn by playing 43.e7!, for example 43...Bh5 44.Ke5 c5 45.bxc5 Kxc5 46.Bxa6+-, or 43...Kc7 44.Ke5 Kd7 (44...c5 45.bxc5 a5 46.Kf6 A4 47.Bf7 a3 48.Kg7+-) 45.Kf6+-
