I've mentioned this myself a couple of times, not to gain profile or to imply it
is better. I've done it because in your posts you always state "CEGT 40/40 2GHz
time control". You miss out the important word "Intel". I've always been
concerned, including when I was a member of CEGT, that people may not know
that. An AMD64 3200+ runs at 2GHz and thus it could be interpreted that your
time control is actually much longer than it is. If you'd amend your future
posts to say "CEGT 404/40 Intel 2GHz time control" then people have absolute
clarity. It is a very decent time control, and takes nothing away from CEGT's
work or ratings list, which is superb. I always look at your updates ! Of course
this is entirely up to you, and please take this in the conciliatory tone that
it is intended.
