Hi all,

let´s return to chess. All other things are of no fun here.

King´s Gambit has been updated in the Replay zone.

http://www.husvankempen.de/nunn/

Games are with 40/120 repeated on AMDx64 4200+, this means the real time control
without any adaptation. Ponder on is used for all games where possible (no SMP
versions included). Hash is 512 MB for all.

Whereas in our reference database for download White score is not good, but
anyway around 50% with most lines. score so far in the engine games is
disappointing from White´s point of view: +4, =8, -8

This may still change of course and in the end I will gave a winning percentage
overview for all the subvariations.

Best scoring so far are Hiarcs 10 Hypermodern and Spike 1.1

I have detected no real convincing novelty for White so far and maybe Harry is
right to affirm, that we would get more novelties when testing lines in sharp
tactical systems like the Dragon and King´s Indian, when pregiving more moves to
a really sharp and unclear position. Anyway let us wait here for more games and
learning effect before drawing premature conclusions.

My thought is also that many novelties were detected already in the last decade
by correspondence players using top engines, only that this games bear the names
of the players and not of the different engines many are using to analyze
positions for hours.

Best Regards
Heinz
