I know I said I wouldn't reply to this thread but I wanted to make something
clear.

My decision to resign as moderator and as CCT8 TD has nothing to do with time. I
will be at CCT8 with bells on from start to finish. It is a great event.

I do not however want my name to stop participation in the event, or hurt the
event in any way shape or form.

People are threatening this very thing, so I would rather back away and let the
event carry on as it is more important than my participation.

These people will still have to deal with me on game day, but just as a
participant.

My decision to resign as moderator really stems from certain comments that just
blew the wind out of my sails. Uri's comments just floored me, and Mike Byrne's
comments just baffled me.

When people do not care for something, why waste your time to improve it or even
maintain it? Even worse is when they can say such things in public and _I_ am
the bad guy.

I do however thank the people that have emailed me or posted here supporting me
(Thanks Thorsten for your usual mind blowing input), but my decisions will
stand.

Peter
