That makes no sense to simply resign under threat. What if the same threat is applied to your attending CCT8 would you then agree to not even attend? >My decision to resign as moderator really stems from certain comments that just >blew the wind out of my sails. Uri's comments just floored me, and Mike Byrne's >comments just baffled me. Uri's comments were a surprise especially since he has been a moderator one would think there was some token of feeling towards this forum where he is after all the No 2 poster all time. My only comment on this whole issue is you did the right thing regarding the fact that the post should not be here. But it may have been better to simply delete it and send the poster a warning instead of then debating with members as to why the decision was made. >When people do not care for something, why waste your time to improve it or even >maintain it? Even worse is when they can say such things in public and _I_ am >the bad guy. > >I do however thank the people that have emailed me or posted here supporting me >(Thanks Thorsten for your usual mind blowing input), but my decisions will >stand. I think its a shame. You were voted in as a moderator and although I didn't vote for you I think you should at least see out your term. And actually based on performance I would actually vote for you if you choose to run again. Sarah
