hi thorsten,

cb-gui if a cb-engine is involved. for uci- and winboard-engines => ARENA
because it has the best eng-eng features, mainly that every engine is restarted
after every game. can be switched off (nearly everything can be switched on/off
in arena!), but in my opinion this is a useful option. you can also make a
restart of arena after a couple of games. arena is closed than, restarts and the
tournament/match continues automatically. great option!! the only point i don't
like in arena are the database functions. rather poor compared to CB, but not so
important for engine testing.

if you use arena for some time it not at all complicated, so give arena a
chance!! :-)
