If you have a dual core machine, you can even use two interfaces simultaneously!
 It is what I do with the GUI of CB and Shredder clasic.  It is very interest,
because when you make run two identical tournaments, you can compare the
behavior, the effectiveness of the engines and the results (which are often
different) on the two interfaces.  Moreover, you divide the time of the
tournaments by two, which is not uninteresting either.
