It seems there are a couple of areas which are acting together to make my engine s--l--o--w. 1. Move ordering [dont we all need better MO] 2. Fairly conservative forward pruning [R=2 and safe delta margins in futility etc] 3. The extensions are unimpeded and can get a little crazy ** 4. I use a true 3 rep detection [no 2 rep stuff] ** 5. searching ALL checks in quies() ** It may be, that the last 3 are working together against me [a conspiracy? 8-o] Thanks for your patience.
